Hemanth Konda
Mantis
Autonomous agricultural robot built for precision work across varied crops and terrains. It uses a 4 wheel hub drive chassis with hydraulically adjustable track width to match row spacing and improve stability. Onboard perception combines an Intel RealSense depth camera for close-range vision and a Velodyne VLP‑16 LiDAR for 360° mapping and obstacle avoidance.
A quick-change tool bay supports six interchangeable implements: a plougher for tillage, a weed picker for mechanical weeding, robotic arms for harvesting and selective tasks, a lawn cutter for mowing, a sprayer for targeted chemical application, and a side drill for row-side seeding or waterways. This modularity lets one platform handle multiple field operations while reducing equipment costs.
